Not long before I left Bucharest I discovered some amazing secondhand clothes shops … and I have to admit I went a little crazy buying clothes. Here’s the story of my massive Bucharest thrift haul.
I have to admit that I didn’t NEED all these clothes I bought in my month-long Bucharest thrift haul — 56 items in total — and with the stress of selling my flat and preparing for the international removal I started shopping to calm myself down.
I also had a sense this was my last chance saloon where shopping was concerned. When we move back to the UK we’ll be living in the countryside, a 45 minute bus journey from the nearest (small) town, and I’ll no longer have a babysitter.
One good thing is that I’ve bought very little fast fashion this year, almost nothing new at all, but as I read this list I realise I’ve kept my fast fashion mindset of quantity, quantity, quantity and impulsive purchases without giving thought to where or how I’m going to wear them
